So today is my birthday...
Today I am twenty two years old. When I say that in my head, I feel like I sound so old... like an adult... from this point on I know it will only get worse... Although I know that other than my bad feet and occasional aching back, I am a willow tree dancing around.
Yesterday, while listening to the Amazing Robert Randolph, I was thinking of all that happened in the year 21. I decided that I had the most amazing year of anyone's life. I started that year at Fall Creek Falls, a surprise from Wes, then from there I had the opportunity to travel to California and Cozumel, Mexico, I got engaged, I started my very own business (my dream), I graduated college (my mothers dream), I moved to Nashville, I got to share in the excitement of planning a wedding with my lifelong best friend, and watched her walk down the isle two weeks before me, I gained a new respect for my family as they all pulled together and selflessly helped me prepare for my "big" day, I GOT MARRIED to the best person I know, I traveled to Europe (my life dream), I moved back to Florence (whoo hoo!!), and I ended it at the spectacular Bonnaroo music festival dancing to the most amazing artists of our generation. I feel like I am seriously the most blessed person alive.
I expect nothing short of this for the year 22. (except the getting married part- I won't ever do that again). I am excited to see what life brings...
I say all this for one: I dont want to forget how blessed I am, and two: to help you realize how blessed you are. Life is AMAZING. I know so many people missing out on life because they are drinking or doing drugs or just wallowing in self pity... if everyone would quit trying to escape life and embrace it and live right then in that moment experiencing all that it has to offer.. they would find happiness. Dance. Sing as loud as you can and dance.

Pollock Family
First I want to say this family was wonderful. I got in conversation with Mr. Pollock about his bride, whom he has been married to for 43 years, he told me that being married to her was the best thing he has ever done and he wished he could have done it when he was twelve. That is amazing to me... true, lasting love DOES exist. I will hold on to this hope for everyone to find it.

Anna Laura & Andrew
Anna Laura and Andrew finally made it down the aisle after years of dating and falling in love with each other. They are so beautiful and have a sweetness about their relationship that I have found to be rare. I must say I am in LOVE with this couple, and I am sad the wedding is over. You amazing and I can't wait to have the chance to work with you again.... maybe in a few years when there are babies crawling around :)

Ok, I promised
Ok, I promised that I would put honeymoon pictures up, now two months later here they are!! haha. Sorry for the long delay, things have been busy (if you haven't noticed the tons of blogs I have done the past week). Anyways, Wes planned the most amazing honeymoon to Rome, Venice, and TUSCANY!!! He didn't tell me where we are going until the RECEPTION at the wedding!!! Wow. That was an unreal moment. I literally hit the floor. He planned every detail, and took care of absolute anything that could have happened. The last two pictures are from our chateau in Tuscany built in the 1300's!!!! This was the trip of a lifetime with my husband. He is the most amazing person I have ever met. I hope everyone in the world has someone like him in their life.... Ok I am done being cheezy. Now look!!

Leslie & Spencer
Leslie and Spencer were married March 9th of this year at the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville, AL. Once they got their pictures back they were disappointed with the small amount of shots. SO, I was blessed to have to opportunity to do a post-wedding session. This is a great idea for any couple wanting to get a different look than what they got on that day. The bride is no longer stressed about getting the dress dirty and well, like I told Spencer, he was SO lucky to get to see his bride all dressed up again. I enjoyed this shoot so much, it was awesome getting to know you. Ya'll truely make a beautiful couple... here are a few of your shots....
